Organized by Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole with Pays Cœur d'Hérault, Pays de l'Or and Grand Pic Saint-Loup, this event continues to offer a particularly rich program: farm visits, walks, workshops, markets, tastings, festivities....

2 editions take place each year, in spring and autumn, over a 2-week period, and offer nearly a hundred events, close to home, focusing on local agriculture and quality food.

Screening of the documentary "In the Name of the Sea, Towards Sustainable Fishing?"

Fishing and aquaculture have never played such an important role in the food supply and income of so many people. Through historical insights, the reality of current fisheries, whether artisanal or industrial, and ecological and animal concerns, this film unravels the workings of a global system that has never been so efficient in racing towards its own demise. Engaging with fishermen, researchers, and industry players, from European to African coasts, it offers a global perspective on fishing and questions the ability to fish in a truly "sustainable" manner. The screening of the film (52 min) by Chloé Henry-Biabaud and Sibylle d’Orgeval will be followed by a discussion. This session is part of the Alimenterre festival. Access: Tram 3 Stop Soriech.
