Canteen and leisure center menus

The menu is updated every 2 months on our website. The origin of the meats is communicated to the school restaurants on the day of the menu. All products used are guaranteed GMO-free by our suppliers (in compliance with regulations).

Reminder: it is not possible to ask municipal staff to carry out evictions on a case-by-case basis according to menus and parents' requests, as this is not part of their missions.

A gradual greening of plates

Since 2020, the City of Montpellier has been committed to offering more plant-based menus in its canteens. Objectives: act for the environment, contribute to animal welfare and offer a healthy, balanced diet.

  • Since the start of the 2020 school year:a weekly vegetarian menu
  • Since January 2021:option for a daily vegetarian diet
  • Since the start of the 2024 school year:2 weekly vegetarian menus for all, including twice a month without animal proteins.

For the daily vegetarian option, families wishing to do so can choose directly on their presto.montpellier.fr portal:

  • By going to the "My reservations" tab then to "I modify my diet" and select "Vegetarian".
  • By going to "My account" then to "Diet" and select "Vegetarian".

If you are unable to make this choice directly from the family portal, you can contact the Presto service:

  • By email,
  • By telephone 04 34 88 78 98 Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm,
  • At the Presto service counters at the Town Hall, Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm.

Individualized welcome protocol

If the child's health requires it, parents must contact the school principal to set up an individualized reception protocol (PAI). This sets out the conditions for the reception of a pupil with special needs requiring particular vigilance. It is a written document that involves parents, teachers, municipal staff involved in the child's care and, where appropriate, outside partners.
