Montpellier's parks and gardens

Private or public, forgotten or restored, Montpellier's gardens constitute an astonishing heritage due to their composition and diversity.

Opening hours

These spaces, managed virtuously (respect for natural resources, no phytosanitary products since 2006), open at 8am all year round.

Closing times vary according to the period:

  • Spring from March 1 to May 31: closing at 8pm
  • Summer from June 1 to August 31: closing at 9:30pm
  • Autumn from September 1 to October 31: closing at 8pm
  • Winter from November 1 to the end of February: closing at 6pm

These times apply to fenced parks, as opposed to unfenced gardens, which are accessible at all times.
