Spring-summer edition from May 24 to June 8, 2025

Building on its success, the "4 Seasons of Agroecology and Sustainable Food" event became "Manger comme on sème, le Festival des 4 Saisons" in 2024.

Organized by Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole with Pays Cœur d'Hérault, Pays de l'Or and Grand Pic Saint-Loup, this event continues to offer a particularly rich program: farm visits, walks, workshops, markets, tastings, festivities....

2 editions take place each year, in spring and autumn, over a 2-week period, and offer nearly a hundred events, close to home, focusing on local agriculture and quality food.

Objective: to promote peasant agroecology and short circuits, raise awareness of the challenges of agricultural resilience and food security, and showcase our region's farmers as well as all the players committed to sustainable food.

Discovering Urban Agriculture in the Heart of Mosson

As the visit unfolds, participants will explore the spaces, installations, and experiments conducted around living systems and food. The activity will provide a better understanding of how to grow, produce, and care for living things in the city, even in constrained spaces. Through experiences, hands-on activities, and small challenges, various questions will be addressed: • How does a plant grow and what does it need? • How can we cultivate in the city when space and resources are limited? • What roles can soil, water, insects, and biodiversity play? • Can we produce part of our food in the city? • How can everyone contribute to developing a more vibrant and resilient city? The visit will also be an opportunity to discover the initiatives developed within the OASIS and in the basements of the Grenier de la Mosson, where the seeds of the future of urban agriculture are already sprouting. Access: Tram 1 Stop Stade de la Mosson Free, no registration required. Open to all. The activity is suitable for children. Organized by Les Petits Débrouillards Occitanie. This event is part of the autumn-winter edition of "Eat as You Sow, the 4 Seasons Festival."
