The municipal associations directory

The City of Montpellier has set up an associative directory, an enhancement tool offered to Montpellier associations. To date, more than 2,400 associations are listed.

Registration to the associative directory is reserved solely for associations with their head office and activity in Montpellier.

Registration is free of charge and requires the following supporting documents to be submitted to the Vie Associative department:

• Updated articles of association
• List of current board members with postal addresses
• PV of the last General Meeting
• Receipt of the last declaration(s) made to the Prefecture
• Initial publication in the J.O
• Programme and activity report

It is necessary to provide up-to-date documents, justifying the latest modifications declared to the Prefecture: statutes and composition of the current board.

These documents must be accompanied by:

• The latest receipt(s) for declarations made to the Hérault Prefecture,
• Failing this, any document(s) justifying the corresponding declarations made (e.g. copy of Cerfa sent to the Prefecture, etc.).)

Associations are required to declare within 3 months:

• All modifications to their articles of association (changes of name, object, registered office address);
• All changes in their administration: change of directors in particular.

Once registration is finalized

The association benefits from the following rights:

• Access to all training sessions offered by the Vie Associative department
• Creation of a personal space on the online digital associative platform
• Right to participate and obtain a space at the Antigone des Associations (the town's annual associations forum)

L'association bénéficie des droits suivants :

• Accès à l’ensemble des sessions de formations proposées par le service Vie Associative
• Création d’un espace personnel sur la plateforme numérique associative en ligne
• Droit de participer et d’obtenir un espace lors de l’Antigone des Associations (forum des associations annuel de la ville)
