Organized by Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole with Pays Cœur d'Hérault, Pays de l'Or and Grand Pic Saint-Loup, this event continues to offer a particularly rich program: farm visits, walks, workshops, markets, tastings, festivities....

2 editions take place each year, in spring and autumn, over a 2-week period, and offer nearly a hundred events, close to home, focusing on local agriculture and quality food.

Objective: to promote peasant agroecology and short circuits, raise awareness of the challenges of agricultural resilience and food security, and showcase our region's farmers as well as all the players committed to sustainable food.

Film Debate with Terre de Liens

Terre de Liens invites you to a screening of the film "What Are We Waiting For" by Marie-Monique Robin. This film highlights the municipality of Ungersheim, which launched a participatory democracy program in 2009, called "21 Actions for the 21st Century," encompassing all aspects of daily life: food, energy, transportation, housing, money, work, and education. "Autonomy" is the key word of the program, aiming to relocalize food production, promote energy sobriety and the development of renewable energies, and support the local economy through a complementary currency (the Radis). Since 2005, the municipality has saved 120,000 euros in operating costs and reduced its direct greenhouse gas emissions by 600 tons per year. It has created around a hundred jobs and has not increased local taxes. So, what are we waiting for? The screening will be followed by a debate led by the association. Access: Tram 1 and 5, Stop Saint-Eloi. Price: €7, no registration required. Accessible to people with reduced mobility and children from 12 years old. Organized by Terre de Liens. This event is part of the autumn-winter edition of "Eating as We Sow, the 4 Seasons Festival." From November 20 to December 6, nearly 90 events hosted by actors in the sustainable agricultural and food system await you: farm visits, walks, workshops, markets, tastings, festivities...
