Conditions of participation
To qualify for the Bourse Initiatives Jeunes, applicants must be aged between 16 and 29 inclusive and have been resident in Montpellier for over a year.
Excluded:
- Projects presented as part of a school or university curriculum,
- theoretical research work,
- associative projects,
- professional projects.
Applicants agree to the City of Montpellier reporting on their action at the time and in the form it deems appropriate.

Amount of assistance
The amount of the City's support cannot exceed one-third of the overall budget for the project. For a project to be eligible, each applicant must call on other financial backers.

Vivre ensemble à Montpellier: pour animer son quartier et sa ville
To drive projects in neighborhoods or in the city that aim to develop citizenship, social cohesion and educational success.
First cultural productions: affirming talent
To encourage and support first cultural and artistic productions (music, publishing, short films, dance, graffiti, theater, video...). This can involve the production of a CD, a comic strip, the organization of a cultural event, an exhibition...
Destination monde: for discovery and exchange
To discover other cultures, to meet up with other young people to foster links of solidarity. Projects involving cultural discoveries, exchanges and humanitarian actions are given priority.
Sustainable development
Projects eligible under this theme must contribute to reconnecting society with nature, training citizens in environmental issues or mobilizing them to take action in favor of its preservation.
