Lac des Garrigues

Temps de lecture : 1 minute

Located in the heart of the Mosson district, this lake was originally created for irrigation purposes in 1896. Today, it constitutes a beneficial oasis of freshness and biodiversity in the district. A forest of Aleppo pines and 9 hectares of garrigue surround the reservoir. The lake is equipped with a nautical base, and a fitness trail can also be found on its banks and in the adjoining nature areas.

From the Lac des Garrigues, the canalette below and its immense plane trees lead to the banks of the Mosson.
