See you on February 6 for the inauguration!

An art initiation center for 0-6 year olds, mille formes Montpellier is open free of charge to families and groups. The Art Center is made up of different spaces: a gallery, a 0-2 years space, a workshop, a mini-museum, a performance room, a reading hut and a café-cuisine.
The Art Center's programming is designed in partnership with the Centre Pompidou and in dialogue with contemporary artists following a rhythm of two seasons per year, highlighting the diversity of artistic fields. A space dedicated to the discovery of all art forms through exploration, play, doing and undoing, mille formes Montpellier proposes a renewed definition of the relationship between children and adults.
mille formes Montpellier is a cultural establishment of the City of Montpellier. It belongs to the mille formes network, created and initiated by the city of Clermont-Ferrand in partnership with the Centre Pompidou.

Opening weekend program
Friday, February 6
11h - Official opening
In the presence of Mr. Mayor of Montpellier, Mr. Mayor of Clermont-Ferrand and Mr. President of the Centre Pompidou and many children.
First kick-off, first shared breath, the opening of mille formes Montpellier marks the beginning of a sensitive journey benefiting from the expertise and know-how of the Centre Pompidou in its programming for young children.
Here, wonder is cultivated step by step at children's level in the various spaces offered for the first time to discovery and exploration. Between visual acrobatics and creative acts, mille formes Montpellier promises a suspended moment on the border of art, play and reverie. An invitation to step aside, look up, smile and marvel. The show begins! Silhouettes unfurl, colors come alive and materials come to life. Each movement tells a story, each artistic project opens a window onto a limitless imagination.
Young and old alike are invited to let themselves be guided by the poetry of (a thousand) forms, surprised by the audacity of gestures, carried away by the light breath of a delicately orchestrated fantasy...
