Actors and territory in transition

The animation of the Plan Climat Air Énergie Territorial solidaire (PCAETs) aims to develop a real partnership-based territorial dynamic with the commitment of the Metropole's communes but also of the territory's players and the general public to encourage everyone to take action in favor of the Plan Climat.

For this, mobilization is essential to significantly improve quality of life, social ties and living together.

In 2024, students from the ARTFX art school have imagined what a Metropolis with a successful ecological transition might look like in 2050.

Faced with the urgent need to tackle climate change, the region's 31 municipalities are taking numerous actions to help implement the Climate Plan.

In October 2023, the Metropole organized the "Climate Festival" at La Mosson. Over 1,050 residents attended the event, 38% of whom were children.

Thanks to the participation of the neighborhood's Maisons pour tous and associations, the climate issue was at the heart of numerous educational and fun activities, for young and old.

Le Festival du climat a donné lieu à la signature d’un partenariat entre la Métropole et l’association « Banlieues Climat » qui développe en France un réseau de jeunes formés aux enjeux climatiques, et les aide à développer leur « pouvoir d’agir ». L’objectif de ce partenariat est de mobiliser 100 jeunes de la Mosson et des quartiers en politique de la ville autour de ce beau projet de transformation des modes de vie.

Une formation d’un jour sur les enjeux climatiques est proposée aux jeunes, formation récompensée par la remise d’un diplôme. L’ensemble des jeunes formés pourront ensuite constituer un réseau d'ambassadeurs et animer des temps d’échanges dans les festivals, les écoles, les centres de loisirs, les clubs sportifs. Certains d’entre eux deviendront formateurs et pourront transmettre à leur tour l’envie d’agir pour le climat.

• A charter for eco-responsible events
• A guide to events with eco-responsible recommendations
• An approach by the Cinema sector, which adheres to EcoProd and engages with Carbon'clap
• A working group on the improvement and labeling of eco-events
