Educational Success Program (PRE)

The PRE aims to reduce educational and social inequalities between the different territories of the City.
The 2 objectives of the Réussite Éducative program:
- Fostering equal opportunities for children aged 2 to 16 in priority City policy neighborhoods, showing signs of fragility in the school, educational, social and/or health fields.
- Preventing social and educational breakdowns in City policy territories.
Individual or group intake of children
The PRE program referents intervene at the request of and in partnership with local socio-educational players, such as schools, associations or any other institutional structures, with the parents' agreement. Children can then receive individual or group support.
Health, access to social rights, education and schooling, support for parenthood, but also access to leisure activities, culture and sport... Support activates several levers that are essential for children's educational success.
Multidisciplinary support teams (EPS) with varied skills
Composed of professionals from varied and complementary fields of intervention, multidisciplinary support teams (EPS) have academic, social, socio-educational and health skills.
Agents analyze each child's situation in its entirety. Together, they take a cross-sectional look at his or her family, social and school environment, as well as the difficulties and potentialities on which to build.
Interventions in different sectors within the priority districts of the city's policy:
- Mosson: Arthur Rimbaud and Les Escholiers sectors
- Hauts de Massanne
- Montpellier Ouest: Celleneuve, Petit-Bard / Pergola, Cévennes
- Montpellier Centre: Pas du Loup-Val de Croze, Gély, Figuerolles and Lemasson
