The Parc de la Rauze covers almost 2.5 hectares in the south of Montpellier, not far from the banks of the River Lez. It forms the heart of a vast sports complex featuring soccer pitches, beach volleyball courts, an archery range and a swimming pool. A new self-service street workout and multi-sports field complete the offer. The park also features 2 play areas, ideal for strolling and entertaining children.
The Parc de la Rauze features 3 types of vegetation: wooded dry meadows, open and trimmed hedges, mixed massifs and copses. This park has been awarded the "Ecojardin" label, a label highlighting the ecological management carried out by the town's gardeners.
