The Parc Charpak is a vast 8-hectare contemporary green space designed by Michel Desvignes. It is crossed by the Lironde du Méjean, a watercourse bordered in places by a hem of tall grasses. The park's vast grassy areas are hunting grounds for swallows and black swifts, and 9 species of bat also frequent these meadows.
More than 500 trees have been planted in this park, including poplars, holm oaks and umbrella pines.
