Climate Plan assistance
Energy-efficient renovation of homes is essential to reduce their impact on the climate (20% of greenhouse gas emissions), improve comfort in the face of extreme weather conditions, and limit expenditure linked to rising energy prices. It also contributes to enhancing heritage, preserving resources, reducing noise pollution and improving indoor air quality.
The commitments made by the Metropole
As part of the adoption of the Plan Climat Air Energie Territorial Solidaire (PCAETs), the Metropole has set itself ambitious targets: 90% of homes renovated by 2050 with an energy gain of at least 40%, i.e. a rate of 4,500 private-sector homes renovated per year by 2030.
Short-term objective: 12,000 private-sector homes renovated by 2026.
