Communicate differently: Nonviolent Communication (NVC) practice workshop

With Brigitte Chaffaut, NVC trainer The goal of this NVC process is to establish an authentic and caring dialogue. It is a powerful tool for managing conflicts and establishing a constructive and caring dialogue with friends, family, colleagues, neighbors, etc. Marshall Ronsenberg developed this concept in the 1980s. It is a simple and structured method of interpersonal communication that facilitates human relationships and enriches them with empathy. Our environment and upbringing have given us bad habits from a young age; we can identify them. This process allows us to be heard, while being in line with our values. It's about identifying each person's needs to facilitate understanding of ourselves and others. NVC thus helps to defuse conflicts, promote empathy and also strengthen interpersonal relationships. Carpet in the Light, artistic experimentation for toddlers

While waiting for the opening of Mille formes, an art center for 0-6 year olds in February 2026, an off-site program is offered to toddlers at the Musée Fabre, open Tuesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.: Carpet in the Light, artistic experimentation as part of the exhibition "The Meeting of Pierre Soulages" at the Fabre Museum From June 28, 2025 to January 4, 2026, open Tuesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. For children from 15 months to 3 years Light, and its emergence through gesture, is one of Pierre Soulages's greatest concerns. What if children and their parents also sculpted light? By caressing, striating, smoothing, scratching, and pricking thick carpets that reproduce the light projections from the stained-glass windows of the Sainte-Foix Abbey in Conques, created by Pierre Soulages! How? Using a collection of tools such as brushes, combs, and scrapers. Thus, the gestures of young and old immediately reflect this experimentation before the little ones take a walk through a gallery, punctuated by windows shaped like Conques stained glass. Carpet in the Light allows children from 15 months to 3 years old and their parents to draw directly with light, to look only at it, and to share the obsession that it inspired in Pierre Soulages and Clémentine Carsberg. Created by Clémentine Carsberg, in collaboration with Cécile Manzo of the Tangerine association, Marie Chéné, artist and poet, and Morgane Bel of the Mobile association. Co-produced by the Musée Fabre / Mille Formes Montpellier. Exhibition-workshop “There was a city”

What would a city be like that was happier, more poetic, more sustainable, and better suited to children? Imagine streets with colorful buildings and where pedestrian crossings were like games. A city where we could take refuge in comfortable cabins. A city with extraordinary vegetation where we would exchange ideas around a tree, where the wind and the rain would be our allies... Architect, spatial designer and artist, Sara de.Gouy invited children to reflect with her on the city of their dreams. Born from these moments of exchange, "Il était une ville" is a giant model that plays with scale and encourages young visitors to reinvent the city in their turn. Sessions at 9:15, 10:15, 11:15, 2:15, 3:15 and 4:15 - Duration 1 hour To do with the family Free with reservation at [www.moco.art](https://www.moco.art/) or on site.

Program: As part of the Artistic Meetings Technique: painting Using prints of their feet and hands, budding artists will give free rein to their imagination based on the principle of pareidolia. You will support this vision through drawing. 2 workshops linked to the November Artistic Meetings on the theme of Sharing Art - Collective Voices and Imprints. Mediterranean Performing Arts Biennial

The 3rd edition of the Mediterranean Performing Arts Biennale takes place over three weeks in and around Montpellier. Initiated by the [Théâtre des 13 vents - CDN Montpellier](https://www.13vents.fr/) and designed by a group of cultural partners in the region, it welcomes artistic teams working on the shores of the Mediterranean. Conceived as a place for sharing works and thoughts, the Biennale offers a program of performances, workshops, meetings and readings combining theater, dance, music and contemporary writing. Giving an overview of creation in the Mediterranean, crossing geographical and imaginary territories, sharing artistic and political questions with everyone, making contradictions and hopes sensitive, this is the idea, the spirit, which animates this Biennale, its one and only simple necessity. Week 1 from November 6 to 8 Silence, it's rolling by Chrystèle Khodr and Nadim Deaibes Thu 6 and Fri 7 Nov at 7 p.m. offered by La Vignette Sat Nov 8 at 6 p.m. offered by La Bulle Bleue theater / Lebanon Lebanon, 1976. The Palestinian refugee camp of Tel al-Zaatar is besieged, leading to a massacre. Drawing on archives and testimonies, including that of Eva Ståhl, a Swedish nurse survivor, Silence, ça tourne reopens the forgotten pages of history and gives voice to a memory of resistance. Yes Daddy by Bashar Murkus and Khulood Basel Khashabi Theater / Palestine Thu Nov 6 at 9 pm, Fri Nov 7 at 7 pm presented by Théâtre des 13 vents theater / Palestine Two men, two solitudes. An old man, gripped by forgetfulness, has found no one to come to his house tonight, except for a young escort. There will be no sex during this night, but a deeper exchange about intimacy. A fragile relationship that questions solitude, memory, and what we dare when we know that nothing will be held back or judged. And everything fell into disarray by Julie Benegmos and Marion Coutarel Fri Nov 7 at 9 p.m. presented by Théâtre Jérôme Savary theater / France What if we rethink our goodbyes? Based on surveys and the stories of those who are reinventing our relationship with death, Julie Benegmos and Marion Coutarel delicately explore alternative funeral practices. And Everything Got Disordered creates a sensitive space where we can pay tribute and rethink our grief. Meeting with the artistic team, after the performance Wed Nov 5 at 7 p.m. at the café-restaurant Le Riche, Villeneuve-lès-Maguelone: “Café mortel” with the Cie Libre Cours Boujlooud (the man with the skins) by Kenza Berrada Fri 7 Nov at 9 pm, Sat 8 Nov at 8 pm offered by Cité européenne du théâtre - Domaine d'O theater, dance / Morocco, France What does consent mean when you come from a line of women married at 14? A voice is freed: Houria's, and with her, those of all the others. Kenza Berrada weaves an organic and vibrant solo of female voices, which summons the ancestral rite of Boujloud. A theater that makes visible inherited silences and words that remain under the skin. Sat, Nov. 8: Meet the artistic team after the performance. Magdalena ABC Sat Nov 8 at 3 pm at MO.CO. Esba presented by Magdalena Montpellier performances, conferences, speeches, readings / France With each letter, a story is written, a body is committed, a struggle is named. Magdalena, an international network of women artists, offers a performative alphabet book composed of moments of speech, bodies, and commitment. Artists involved in the Biennale, activists, and researchers combine stories, gestures, and thoughts. The evening continues with a festive DJ set. Week 2 from November 12 to 15 Necropolis by Arkadi Zaides Wed 12 Nov at 7pm, Thu 13 Nov at 8pm, Fri 14 Nov at 7pm offered by La Vignette theater, dance / France A projected map, a database, erased names. Arkadi Zaides exhumes the traces of those who died on the borders of Europe. In Necropolis, every gesture becomes a tribute. A powerful performance that blends documentation, 3D, and visual arts to remind us that no body should disappear without memory. Meeting with Arkadi Zaides, after each performance We'll do better next time by Nicolas Heredia Wed 12 Nov at 9 pm, Thu 13 Nov at 7 pm, Fri 14 Nov at 7 pm offered by La Bulle Bleue theater / France The actors of La Bulle Bleue reenact interviews with film actors. Filmed from the very first rehearsals, these attempts become a spectacle: between vulnerability, humor, doubts, and discoveries. We'll Do Better Next Time reveals the art of acting, that of sometimes failing, but also, of hitting the mark—with grace. Thu, Nov 13: Meet the artistic team after the performance And everything fell into disarray by Julie Benegmos and Marion Coutarel Thursday, November 13 at 8 p.m. offered by Théâtre Molière -> Sète theater / France What if we rethink our goodbyes? Based on surveys and the stories of those who are reinventing our relationship with death, Julie Benegmos and Marion Coutarel delicately explore alternative funeral practices. And Everything Got Disordered creates a sensitive space where we can pay tribute and rethink our grief. Thu 13 Nov meeting with the artistic team, after the performance A Place of Safety by Enrico Baraldi and Nicola Borghesi Thu Nov 13 at 7 p.m., Fri Nov 14 at 9 p.m. presented by Théâtre des 13 vents theater / Italy This show doesn't save anyone. But it refuses to look away. In July 2024, Nicola Borghesi and Enrico Baraldi board a migrant rescue ship and share life on board. From this experience is born A Place of Safety, a documentary theater about a Europe of closed doors, lives on hold, and voices that urgently need to be heard, starring the crew members. Silence, it's rolling by Chrystèle Khodr and Nadim Deaibes Fri Nov 14 at 8 p.m. at La Passerelle Sète proposed by Théâtre Molière -> Sète theater / Lebanon Lebanon, 1976. Scenes from the life of Danya Hammoud Sat Nov 15 at 3 p.m. at Domaine de Grammont proposed by L'Atelline and Agora \| Montpellier Danse \+ CCN Occitanie performance / Lebanon, France from 12 years old, free entry by reservation (L'Atelline ticket office) Violence sometimes lurks in the familiar. This choreographic performance, performed by an amateur group, works from the smallest, most banal and, thanks to a dissonant soundtrack, reconstructs a larger story: that of violence. What we see doesn't tell us what we hear, and yet, a narrative takes shape. Who lives! Sat Nov 15 at 4 p.m. offered by Théâtre des 13 vents free entry upon reservation Olivier Neveux seminar screening of the work of Jocelyne Saab in partnership with CinéMutins meeting with Najla Nakhlé-Cerruti, researcher at Ifpo (French Institute for the Near East) Play "In the Shadow of the Martyr" (premiere in France) by François Abou Salem and Paola Vonvac at 9 p.m.: In the hero's shadow, there is neither light nor consolation. Alone on stage, a man tries to understand his brother's death in a suicide bombing. In this polyphonic play, both political and intimate, François Abou Salem explores the guilt of a man haunted by what he was unable to prevent. Week 3 from November 18 to 22 Here and now by Walid Ben Selim Tue Nov 18 at 8 p.m. presented by Théâtre Jean Vilar music, poetry / Morocco, France On stage, two presences: a voice, a harp. And in this simplicity, a world is born. Walid Ben Selim sings of Sufi masters and poets of wandering. Marie-Marguerite Cano's harp dialogues with him, fragile and powerful. A concert like an act of peace, between breath, vertigo, and radical beauty. Elektra's Dream by Clément Bondu Wed Nov 19 at 8 p.m. at the Léo Malet Mireval cultural center offered by Théâtre Molière -> Sète theater / France An amnesiac man, an insomniac woman, a lost dog: three wanderings, three ghostly presences along the shores of a burning Mediterranean. Between dream, film noir, and fragments of reality, Clément Bondu blends theater and cinema, creating a polyglot and sensory fiction in this nocturnal fresco. Wed 12 Nov at 7:30 p.m. at the Le grain des mots bookstore: meeting with Clément Bondu (proposed by La baignoire) Wed 19 Nov meeting with the artistic team, after the performance Drawing of a wounded fox by Oriol Puig Grau Thursday, November 20 at 7 p.m. at the Théâtre des 13 vents presented by La Chartreuse in collaboration with La bain Chartreuse label, support for Maison Antoine Vitez reading and meeting with the author / Spain free entry upon reservation (Théâtre des 13 vents ticket office) After discovering the self-portrait of a deceased painter, Ferran immerses himself in the artist's online life, exploring the vestiges of a past existence until he becomes lost in it. Drawing of a Wounded Fox questions obsession, identity, and the boundary between reality and illusion. A reading about the quest for meaning and self. Island of freshness revisited, course led by Argyro Chioti and Nikos Ziaziaris Thu Nov 20 at 9 pm, Fri Nov 21 at 9 pm presented by Théâtre des 13 vents theater / Greece free entry upon reservation In this place of passage, souls come to sing, drink, and question the world. This workshop outing offers a revisited version of the show created in Athens by Argyro Chioti in 2024. The artist-trainees explore the choral nature of bodies, polyphonic chants, and echoes of myth, in this piece woven with water, voices, and unanswered questions. The Wall or the Eternity of a Massacre by Hatem Hadawy Fri Nov 21 at 7 p.m. at the Théâtre des 13 vents presented by La Chartreuse in collaboration with La bain Chartreuse label, support for Maison Antoine Vitez reading and meeting with the author + translator / Syria free entry upon reservation (Théâtre des 13 vents ticket office) In a Syrian city on the verge of falling, four activists—desisted civilians—kill time as best they can: remembering, talking so as not to be silent. They cling to memories, humor, the radio. As the assault approaches, language crumbles. The fighters soon run out of words... How far can language go and express the unspeakable? 7 by Dimitri Chamblas and Zoé Lakhnati Fri Nov 21 at 8 p.m. at the Chai des Moulins Sète presented by Théâtre Molière -> Sète performance, first public test / France free entry upon reservation In this cellar, a crowd. A vehicle moves slowly, bodies embrace. Some fifty residents of Sète compose a dense and dreamlike choreography. With 7, Dimitri Chamblas and Zoé Lakhnati offer the city an augmented vision of itself, in a participatory performance where grace is born from slowness and closeness. Closing evening Friday, November 22 Poems between two shores by Rima Abdul Malak, Marc Alexandre Oho Bambe + musicians proposed by Théâtre Molière -> Sète at 6 p.m. Poetic and musical prelude, reading, music / Mediterranean FREE ENTRANCE A Mediterranean poetry reading event This sea in me... by Walid Ben Selim (with 11 guest musicians and singers) proposed by Théâtre Molière -> Sète at 8 p.m. music / Morocco, France, Italy, Egypt, Afghanistan Three gestures to express a journey: set foot, inhabit, leave again.
