After several months of work, the Place des Martyrs de la Résistance, located in front of the Prefecture, is inaugurated on Wednesday November 26, 2025 at 6pm.

The evening's program:

• Commissioning and lighting of the square's 145 new fountains
• Speeches and ribbon-cutting
• Choral by municipal schoolchildren
• Torchlight procession

The square's inauguration will be coupled with the launch of the festive season illuminations and the celebration of Montpellier's 1040th anniversary.
