Every July since 1985, the Radio France Occitanie Montpellier festival has been a major event in French cultural and musical life. Many prestigious artists have been welcomed here, from Yehudi Menuhin to Michel Petrucciani, from Claudio Abbado to Dee Dee Bridgewater, Mstilav Rostropovitch... alongside "young soloists" who have gone on to become so: Fazil Say, Hélène Grimaud...

Opening concert: film music

Sunday, July 6, 2025, Place de l'Europe, for the grand opening concert of the 40th Radio France Occitanie Montpellier Festival, performed by the Orchestre Nationale de Montpellier, conducted by Chloé Dufresne.

Presented by François-Xavier Szymczak.
